man what a ride that was from Dunners to Alex, couldn't get away untill 11:am then off down the hill, slip slidin away would be more like it sucked the seat up, when i finily stopped

: still had 2/3rd's of the down hill to go so put the bike in the cutter on the wrong side feet as out riggers made it to the bottom, got on the main road out. Got stopped at Miltin by Rm as police had closed rd to munuka gorge as a truck had jack-knifed, so we had lunch, then off through the gorge bit slippy (snow ice & cages) lawrence was the same, then Rox to Alex was the worst part ice & grit most of the way, still parked here at Jantar's the red vino warming the insides

Good to hear you made it - and it means theres a lot less competition for this bottle of red

Are you likely to get work tomorrow?
About 6 inches of snow here and sounds like its going to clear up and freeze over night - so the roads around here won't be much fun in the morning

and I'm meant to be going down to the dentist 1st thing

aye came home via leeflat & mahinerangi but the sad thing was i was driving work car & at night

well it's now just a matter of when,
the Shrek house hold is moving sth to Roxbrugh, most likely end of July, it will be a sad day for us to leave Canterbury,

but the work & other things that are going on behind the scens tells us that it's a good move

& on the other hand Otago will get some good ole fashion canterbury culture

Looks like our loss is going to be your gain down there, take care of the big guy and his lovely other half for us.

I would try and keep him well away from the vineyards as there need to be some vino left to export north to us.
