    Thanks Mr Robertson!

    Mr Robertson who owns Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers golf course made a huge gift to NZ last night.

    15 Paintings worth $115 million to the Auckland Art Gallery, the biggest philanthropic gesture of its kind in Australasia.

    Thanks Mr Robertson, but I reckon art is stupidly overpriced.

    Saw a painting in the beehive once I think, two white squares and two black squares, checkerboard layout, $50k I believe

    Yes, nice to see the spirit of philanthropy is still alive. I'm glad he didn't leave the art to the puerile arcade that calls itself Te Papa. The alleged Museum of NZ...
