if you see my Voxan (camping on site) or when you see my scarlet beard. There are a few of us planning to go joy-riding up and around the mountain before festivities get underway over the weekend.

womad is a laid back music festival.
good atmosphere and good people.
not sure what womad means though.

I'm looking forward to WOMAD for another reason. Hopefully all the traffic will be in town, so I can get on the open road for a good ride with little traffic.

Apparently yours truly got 5 seconds of fame being dealt to by those Shiva heardresser transvestite types from Spain. Went riding the following morning (hey, that's a great run up Carrington Rd and out to Oakura) and despite taking precautions by covering my head with my handkerchief I've got gold glitter littering my helmet. Every time I wear it I get action replay all over my face. Maybe gaffa tape will pull it out some?
