Cheers BE. Now located. So my gut feel did put me in roughly the right place. Funny how you can look at some houses and hills and go "I think that's around there somewhere".
That's 60 km round trip, maybe not on this cold night . Wish I'd found this on Sunday when I was in that neighbourhood and it was .

106km from Raumati or thereabouts would place this in Upper Hutt I reckon. The lowish hills in the background also tend to say Upper Hutt to me. Plus with Scuba Steve's location as being Upper Upper Hutt the signs all point to Upper Hutt for me. Having said that, I could be miles of the mark. Had a look around Te Marua, Brown Owl sort of way but nothing jumped out at me. Still scratching my head
