    When doesn't translate so well on a cellphone, I resort to downloading the pic to my computer and blowing it right up so I can see more of the background to try figure it out. But I gotta go home for that, not always feasible.

    If you get a laptop also get a backup system,and backup regularly,they expire quickly,often without much warning,common culprit is dust blocking cooling

    I had a compaq which I had for ages.i was thinking one evening that I had had a bloody good run....a few.days later B.S.O.D.It starts,sometimes I have to do a start up repair,but it only runs for a few minutes at a time.I dont really want windows again,but don't want apple only either

    To be honest my Mac book is dual boot Linux Mint and doesn't boot Mac osx that often, get an Intl lappy and put some flavour of Linux dual boot on it.
