I cant beleive that you would find that spot in the dark, never having been down there before.Although it may be easier to find in the dark!
People can then make their own choice wether to go and get the tag as i did when i saw the sign. The other thing ,it was big bike unfriendly.I am not baggin you mate, just make these things known when posting a tag.I am not saying a big road bike couldnt have got that but some (low ground clearance and limited steering lock) could not have got past the gate.
True, sorry I've never though of that before and also never seen that sign. I haven't been up there since the logging started and since that sign says something bout logging it must have gone up when they started.

usually i go up there on my dirt bike but i go in though the silverstream water tower area.

I apologize for any problems that could have been cause by my tag.

will have to be more vigilant next time. maybe it's time for some rules to be placed on page 1 of this forum.

    * must ride a motor vehicle that requires a Class 6 license
    * tagers must look out for signs if near or in private property
    * other stuff i cant think of...

I am not going to post any more rules....the rules already state about road bikes gravel etc...and i dont think we should post tags on private property,I think that is common sense, but if you wanna just make sure you post up the "conditions" of your tag.I woulda got yoer tag yesterday if i wasnt in Christchurch!

Not quite, I'm afraid. And that would be dangerously close to a previous one of mine!
