Look out for the wind. That's a clue as well as a warning - it's nasty out there!

There are only that many wind generators at the top end of the Tauraruas or the bottom end of the Ruahines! (either side of the Manawatu gorge)

Unless the Makara consents were granted and the Wind farm there has been built and I didn't even notice!

Consents take so bloody long and cost so much, no wonder power prices are so high!

Yep! I was up Mount Vic lookout last Wed and was suprised to see them out that way myself.

Now. Where the hell would that view be taken from and how the hell am I going to illuminate the hills with the flash on the camera....

So what are our limits? Where does the Wellington area finish? How far up the coast and how far into the Wairarapa?

Get one of them 10 million gazillion candle power rechargable torches from the Warehouse. It is amazing how far they reach.

I was thinking exactly the same thing the other day when I went and picked up the tag from QE2 park. - Thoughts anyone. We don't want it too far away otherwise :

1) it limits the fun to week-ends or well lit places.

2) if we take it too far, someone from another area may grab it and take it out of the region.

it cant be taken out of the area.It is the welly tag orama,anyone can grab it but it s gotta be retagged here...thats how they play in the original game.I am gonna amend the rules to say this.As far as range goes we have been to Martinborough and Waikanae.I say we leave it as is but lets just keep it close during the remaining winter months so people can get to the tag around 5 30.

Lol no all good with keeping it local ! i just hate wellington but then i am a pig in the middle of the city and the manawatu ! It was mentioned in the ADV tag game that bottom of the north was yep a ways up from me so went after that one ! (might need a trail bike lol)

I'm here mate lol, had a wicked flu last 3 weeks and aint been to keen to play, but as ya see by my (sigh one and only tag) i'm happy to chase em and keep em within the boundaries (though i may stretch said boundaries if you fallas go to sleep like the ADV boys did !)
