Hardcase I wish this was further up my way! Someone needs to poach it on the way past! (Or I guess I can start my own)

    Hell yeah,
Could have done with one of those this morning. It was really windy coming over the Wainui hill this morning. Nearly had to change down a gear just to get down the hill. Little bike had a mind of its own and was determined to get into the other lane.

    Have I got it?

    Boer War memorial,Memeorial Square,Martinborough

    martniborough 001

    martniborough 002

i wont post the next one till i get the all clear but i pretty sure this is right

It was all right going over but it was really bad on the way back.Unreal Tailwind from featherston to martinborough.....unreal head wind on the way back, and a few gusts on the hill, never felt dangerous just a bit dodgy. If you keep your eyes on the surrounding vegetation you can see where the wind is hitting the road, and i know the worst spots from a previous motorcycling life

i think the wind is not so bad for big bikes.....The worst bit was coming back over, and was following a huge tanker so going really slow(1st gear) was a bit wobbly then but once past just kept a nice pace to enable easy postioning in the centre of the lane to give max leeway for wind gusts/movement.I reckon vans and small high cars even truck and trailer units get as much wind effects as us
