A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
That spot also has a geocache hidden, which was the reason for me heading out on that little peninsula last time.
Looks like the Auckland crew are hell bent on getting our tag.

They have had two goes already and are planning a third covert mission.
Maybe we should organise a ride to Waiheke and steal their tag. It's been stuck on that island for a little while now.
nice work guys
Ella is sick to i have not been able to get out today
Entertaining a guest this weekend, so no time for me to go out and play. Probably just as well as the bike needs a WOF!
Great to see this thing with a life of its own.
So! Jumped on the bike and headed over the Takas hill to meet up with Wuzard at Gladstone. Got caught in a 'shower' on the way on Haywards which I thought would blow over. Wrong!
Went up into the clouds at the top of the Takas and it was bloody Down the other side and got even wetter. Finally got to Gladstone only to find no-one there.
Quick U-turn and headed back. 2 mins from Featherstone the heavens opened again. Pulled over and finally put the wets on. Back into the clouds in the rain and the dark with cages up my backside.
Finally got home wet and with no feeling in my hands or feet. Now thawed out and dry. A bottle of red wine has just been opened.
Now! Do I really, really want to get the bike gear back on and grab this tag?
There's always tomorrow!
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker
We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered
BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!
