Near memorial park petone around south st somewhere.I initially thought it was inside petone recreational area,but it wasnt.So i had seen memorial park on the map and i knew that it was near or in a sports feild so i went roaming round the streets ,then it started raining and i was just about to give up when a building caught my eye and in the shadows i saw the statue.View not quite the same,but ineeded to be nearer to get the shot

this is the google stuff which got me there

Oops , diner down the road and some nice red wine, bit of a nap on the couch , xmas lights on post turned into upper hutt sub station while i slept and definitely not on the flight path.
