eh...no emphasis meant implied or conciously added.Just as i said,longish way from here to Whitby n back esp as i know Hawkeye and cloggy and KGB are between here and there

What an evening.
So I went to get Hawkeye's tag in Paremata.
Got there, took my picture and was just about to log into KB to upload when Stoney and The Black Stig arrived.
So we decided a group tag was in order.
Another picture taken. As my Blackberry is not 3G uploading pics and viewing webpages is painfully slow so we hopped on our bikes to go around Hawkeye's place in Tawa to upload the tag.
Got to Hawkeye's, got handed beer (Cheers Mate, we owe you one) and tried to work out the best way to get the pics of my phone and into Hawkeye's computer.
Then noticed we had been beaten by Ride It till the Red.
Doh!!
Ah well, we'll team tag the next one. Sat outside for a bit, talked shit (well Stoney did anyway) and waited for the next tag.
Stoney goes, I know where that is exactly, I painted 60 houses around there.
Ok, of we toodle. Get to the spot only to find out it is not it.
Must be the next street over. Nope.
Next? Nope.
Other side of Whitby. Nope and nope.
In the meantime a bigger, better pic of the tag was uploaded. Had a look at that and bugger me, we had been there. Just didn't quite recognise it from the small pic.
So back the way we came, all four of us, Stoney, THe Black Stig, Hawkeye and myself.
Try as we might we could not find the same spot again. Rode around for a good half hour. Even were sure we heard BMWST? bike roar past.
Gutted.
That's tagging I suppose. Can't win them all.

Its a strange place Whitby...When i was in the car club we had a guy live out there and we had some committee meetings there.I ALWAYS drove past his street.....I studied the map carefully before i went tonight I still drove right past Ayton Dr.I was familiar withthe skyline cos i made at ag out there once,so i knew(and i referred back to my old tag) that it was more east than The Anchorage.

Same here.
I get totally lost around there. The place is full of dead ends, loop roads, bendy bits and twisty curves.
