now i is pissed!!! got there, no prob no one had collected it, went to kilbirnie library, ni freekn sd card reader, same story with te 2 internet cafes I tried and the airport, even after that stuffing around tag was still there, 4.45, started thinking I'll be lucky to beat bmwst if I dont post it soon, lane split the hell out of the way home (be highly prepared for the complaint thread about the rider on the snot green bike lane splitting on the hutt motorway) then get home to find hawkeye had already got it

Now you know how I felt at lunch time. Left work in the CBD after first checking it was still there. Quick ? blast up to Airlie rd and back again only to find that 3 mins after I left the CBD, it got posted. That's happened to me 2 day's in a row now.

So! As I came up to the roundabout after passing the windwand, a green snot bike went around the next roundabout in front of me and then turned left towards Mirimar rather than right to the airport.
I went and got the tag and did the same as you - A mad biker lane splitting obviously in a hurry. You could see all the cages saying to themselves - 'there goes Hawkeye, trying to get home to post the tag'.

I can't believe that I managed to leave work, grab the tag and get back home before someone else posted.

yes, I do agree, I tend to lane split more than I should, and today was not the usal for me laxi must learn to control himself

Actually got home before 6 i guess,computer was in use checked and of course it had gone.For teh record guys Dont leave work till 5,but there is a chance on fridays that i wont be at work.....
Re racin home...be careful guys,its only a game,i would absolutely hate it if someone had a accident cos of rushing home to get a tag posted.

First off. WuZard, you are a legend. I've been out for about 1 1/2 hours and I'm frozen. To do 5 hours between 1am-6am last night...

The original place I had thought of didn't pan out. The floodlight that would have given me enough light was out so I had to go looking for another tag.



I will give a small clue to this one but It shouldn't be that hard to find.

At one time, you would pass within 5mtrs of here!

I didn't race, because like you, I expected it to be gone. I lane split at a very sedate pace. Tonight there was an accident on SH2 which had the Motorway almost standing still just after Aotea. Made splitting very easy athough you do have to watch for the idiots who think the lane next to them is moving faster than theirs. Like you say, it's not worth taking risks just to get a tag. There will be plenty more to go for.

You know, thats exactly what I was thinkin Laxi - either that or Google Earth has crashed everyones computers as they search every inch of Highway looking for buildings with Red Tin Rooves, But Yeah ........ The silence is spooky.
