Hey guys (and gals)

Thanks for all the messages for a speedy recovery and concern for my well-being. The foot was the only injury (except a split lip and a few bruises) so I feel pretty darned lucky. Doctors did a great job of stitching it all back to something like the original.

I picked a good spot as 2 nurses and a paramedic were on hand to stop me writhing around in pain and to make sure my neck was not moved after I did a small flying act followed by a tuck and roll up over the kerb onto the footpath. The medical staff did a fantastic job, so hats off to them.

So I won't be riding again for a while, but once I am healed and have some new riding gear Quasi has offered to take me for a ride on the back of a real bike

Indeed you are right, I think I need to revert to the camera, as the cellphone is just not up to the job in variable light conditions.( Or I could sleep later and tag in the daylight )

Thanks mate. I am feeling a bit gun shy of bikes at the moment and wondering if a big 4x4 cage or the train is required to stay alive on my daily commute .... but I am sure the overwealming desire to get on 2 wheels will take over again
