And No it is not DOC land, I know this as myself and mates have had to ask permission from the owners of that land to build a mountain bike track.... It is council land, and the concrete blocks were put there to stop illegal dumping. It's the same reason behind that grassy area being fenced off. I'd swear it's practically commercial scale dumping.
We hauled out several rubbish skips worth of garbage already from around that area with more to come.

Locals won't mind less you were planning on doing a few donuts.

yeah I noticed there wasnt even a keep out sign, normaly it wouldn't worry me just in this case it was right next to the prison took pictures of that spot to post as the tag after I grabbed the wahini memorial last week but hawkeye beat me to the post

Yep - I'm addicted and i just lurking onthe sidelines. Just know that when I have to ride over from Marty, I havent got a hope in hell of getting a tag . However.... should someone be brave enough to venture furhter north into my neck of the woods - watch out.
