THis should be mean I like the kink down the back straight as the thous can't escape now neeee a ahah aha haha (wicked laugh). Although T8 was my favourite sweeper and I'll have to try make time on other bikes everywhere else now, new challenges and definately suited to the 600'ds. Should be gr8 fun!

We have done extensive testing using riders of various levels and gained approval for the new layout from Motorcycling New Zealand through the Taupo Motorsport Park.
Hey cool Nannas Sue. Like I said 1 safety concern based on memory
The other bit is me thinking of me and me alone so dont worry about that

You're right, the chicane near the gliding club isn't new.... but the chicane on the back straight is.

The new layout is the brain child of MotoTT director Kevin Ure and adds an exciting new twist to the original track layout. We have all done track 1 so often now that the new chicane freshens up the track day experience. It will challenge the experienced riders skills and smaller bikes will enjoy the new turns. The MotoTT team have been testing the new configuration and will post an on board bike video before the 20th June.

Track 5 adds five more corners to the previous layout. The original tight Track 4 chicane is used after T8. Then back onto a slightly shorter old pit lane straight. Then into the southern sweeper as normal, onto the back straight then into the new MotoTT chicane. This chicane uses the T1 of Track 3 as the entry then a slightly sharper right into an opening left and back onto the main straight.

MotoTT Track 5 will be used at our trackday on the 20th of June. We hope you enjoy this new challenge!
Yas should have done this when i had my 400!

Guess the front straight becomes MINGA CENTRAL now that the back straight is not the longest one anymore...
