I'm surprised that he didn't claim to 'own all your bases'.
These people/companies are pathetic, eh? Find their products in any $2 Shop...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You can use javascript to hide your email address on your website. It's still perfectly useable for your clients, but the bots can't harvest it.

Yeah.... but would you send $5000 then sit and wonder if it will arrive?
I would rather see, touch and hear it. Then give them the money

    Such wisdom Finn

I did think of just printing it out and gluing it up around town - but then it'll get tagged!

Yeah what he said. Plus there are a few other ways of doing this.

Use a contact form with hidden code, or jiggle the email address around using javascript. Not too complicated for someone to sort out for you.

Would be worth starting with a different email address when you do this if possible (because it's already too late for the one you're using).
