I'll probably drop by on the Tuesday some time (coz you start in Turangi) to wish you nutters luck. I'll be heading north from the www.tt2000.org ride

Accom each nite in a good motel - own room, breakfast each day , restaurant quality meal each night, a shit load of organising, people to keep an eye on etc.

Any way it does matter now the boys and girls are on the road for day 3.

Well that was fun, big thanks to Lee, Bryan, the check point men and the RN Club for their efforts

Was well worth the effort, with all the riders feeling like they have acheived something.

17 out of the 18 starters finished, with the one falling casualty to large diesel spill on Porters pass two days from the end....buggar. The police were soon in attendence warning other motorists of the hazzard. Bad luck John...

Day 1 East Cape, 2, West Cape, 3, Coromandal, 4, Hutt thenEast of Wellington.. Wimbldon. 5,Tauranga and the gorge between opotiki and Gisborne...(Some road that) 6, to Timaru 7, Westport and Buller 8, Haast 9', Central otago 10 Catlins.

Rode some amazing roads and meet some new friends.....
