Brand - sorry I don't know - silly buggers haven't put a label on. They are a year old and the other posters nailed the answer - the lining was torn in a vital area. Stitched up and now 95% sorted - looks like I didn't shake it enough rather than a complete bladder empty!
Clues for anyone who knows bike gear - bought from MCR Dunners, left leg labelled with Scotchlite logo - reflective knee pads - and right leg with Reissa membrane label. Actually I would still recommend - esp if I can resolve the final 5%. I'm a shortarse - 5 ft 2 in old money and to be able to buy an off the peg in the right leg length and waist size was quite a suprise.

Haven't tested the protector mechanics yet and hope to avoid.
