Haha. I have a 1.8L car...And I like the fine line between economy (petrol) and speed/awesomeness ;-D. Didn't you know we're running out of oil this century?

Okay so have a choice between the cbr250rr 1992 with 94000km (though engine starts up from cold no probs, choke no probs, good paint finish with a few touch ups, new tires, sprockets, chain looks ok, rides good, though will need change fork seals) for 3k, or a cbr250r 1988 down in palmy with 9000km on it that's had services and stuff done on it that will take 3200 for...what do I do?I like the mc22 better for some strange reason, looks, cornering feels better, but the palmy one has little km on it...though I would have to get down there first...

94000 is pretty damn high although if it has been looked after properly it shouldn't be a problem. You could always buy a new engine to put in it and that would still be cheaper than most RRs out there.

Yeah, like I was saying, It feels better than the other rr I tried, and two 250r's I tried - both of the R's had interesting starting problems, yet this was sweet (bit of smoke for the first 15sec or so..to be expected when not used for a week..)So the RR it is then?:-)

If the 88 has a true 9000km or whatever, then I'd definitely take that!

    Hey Matty!

Definately go for the mc22, in my opinion (though I may be a tad biased) they are better aesthetically and mechanically. Plus the mc19 has probably been around the clock if it's that old, so don't let that factor decide for you.

    Ps. Physio hard!!

MC19's (CBR250Rs) are great bikes. Granted the frame isn't as good as the MC22, but it's the same 'under the hood' and a great learners bike

Yeh. No-one was keen to check out the palmy one for me, plus he wouldn't budge below 3200...so I've got the mc22 :-) has a bit of a flat spot at 6k due to the modified exhaust i suspect that's never had the carbs done since, and some superficial stuff, but I think ride wise, love it :-)
