Hey Bugjuice........ I'm gonna strip the bike down...... no main fairings, tail fairings.... rear lights, grab rail, etc....... and if possible will remove the head light and screen as well.

I know it will slow me down...... but I'm not that fast anyway.....and less to break

So if I do that how could I bring the bike down to you?

Risking it along at 4am is one option.... is there anything else you can suggest??

Would it be possible to pick the bike up the day before?? Will shout you dinner and the Subway the next day.....I live in Central Aucky

OH YEAH AS FOR FUEL COSTS.......WE ADD UP THE TOTAL BILL AND SPLIT IT EQUALLY BETWEEN YOU ME AND THE OWNERS OF THE OTHER BIKES YOU ARE CARRYING......

k, well 2 options for getting your bike over (and neither involve riding it at 4am..!). Either ride it over the day before and we can strip it here, or strip it the day before and I'll run over in the van and get it.. Don't mind. Can even stop here the night before if you want, saves picking up in the morning, and a bit easier to get going..
Same goes for anyone else who wants a ride. 6Chris6 is comin for the ride too, so I'll be on the hunt for a bike trailer. Might need rope/straps for the bikes, not sure what'll be in the van..

As for the gas, then yeah, was kinda thinking that we'd split between who ever is coming. I'll fill it up the night before, then what ever the costs are to fill it up by the time it gets back.. no worries..

Bugjuice, if you don't come up with a trailer let me know I can come over some time on Saturday and load the bikes up on the truck, no need for fuel money as I have the green light from my work for the trip in the truck.

Still a bit after Frosty has opened the gates.....

But leaving there any earlier would be pretty ambitious....... especially since .......Mercy sakes alive, looks like we got us a convoy...

can we all fit in the Terrano? no. I'm stuck with a shed on wheels, pulling some contraption. The load is worth more than everything (including the full tank of fuel), might be a bit of a crapper, but it'll get there. Solid as a 10 year old Mitre10 shed...

it takes me 3 hours in the van going the matamata way.
the good thing is ya kinda get up to speed and sit there for hours.
