Nah it's great mate - people will think you are a better rider than you actually are cos you don't brake for corners that they have to!!!! I had same problem when I had the Rebel and there were a few people who asked how I managed to do some corners without braking. If I felt I needed to let people know I was braking I would touch the back brake. But then that all ended when WOF time came up and then people realised I used my brakes way more than I probably should have!

yeah that time of year for me too, sucks tire is worn in the centre from commuting and has heaps of life yet but prob wont pass!!!

Been trailing the rear brake while commuting to let cagers now i am slowing down, but after seeing another accident on the bridge ( cage notices gap infront of him has grown to at least 0.4 of a sec so guns it to catch up relises traffic aint moving and slams into the back of the ute infront, fuckin hilarious to watch as i could see it happening miles off and had already moved into my middle lane to go round it, had to dodge bits of lights and indicators to get out of the ensuing mayhem!!), which make two in as many days I think!!, I just keep a fair safety margin in front of me or ducks to between lanes for the comfort and bliss of splitting!
