    Sorry NC30

I'm hiJacking this thread back to alcohol.

As it is Easter, a lot of places will not be serving/selling alcohol. That is why I propose someones place. (Cheaper too)

So. I'm gonna say the top of (Not)One Tree Hill, with a bottle of Jack and some coke. Maybe even a bag of ice. Sometime on Saturday or Sunday.

I'm also thinking Victoria Park Markets .... (I'm running out of places I know here) Sky Tower Casino...

    ...um...

    ...your momma's house....

....I woulda said my momma's house, but, my momma's soooo fat, that when she sits around the house, she REALLY sits AROUND the house.....finding the door could be a problem.

    Cool

    Slipstream......

The Auckland CC have closed off None Tree Hill at night time after 7pm....
Reason: Because of the local hoons hooning around up there and causing trouble. (Teenagers)

I found this out a year ago, when I went to take someone up there.

Mt Eden Hill is still open, but when I went up there (a year ago).... the young ones were up there boozing and then flying up and down the hill in their cars.... and hanging out there till they got the txt to say where the party was happening at.... wasnt pleasant up there at the time.

So maybe at someones place... may be the best idea....

I would love to offer up my place but I doubt it would come accros so we well with my flatties.
"hey guys, heaps of harcdore bikers I met on the internet are coming around now"

I would suggest mount Albert but they close the gates early. could park outside and walk up, its not that big. (Or bring some bolt cutters )

I dont know how you guys plan to drink and get home safe and stuff thou.
Id proberly be inclined to ride in and get my brother to take my bike home for me.

    what about.... Unitec?

I dont think they close gates and they have some nice parky bits at the back.
    Also some non-public roads
I only posted this because of the global economic crisis

Holy shit! Go away for the weekend and come back to a rage at my place! It'd be perfect here, off street parking for heaps of bikes, good deck and outside entertainment area, some of the best music you can find, hey even a band if you wanted....

But I'm not gunna be here,I'll either be working on the house in Huntly (like I was this weekend) or checking out a bike in Levin - some members of my family seem to think buying another bike while renovating a house is not responsible behaviour, but hey, what came first....my bikes or a house.

That's no problem. Leave a key under the door mat, and we'll take care of the broken windows in the morning.
We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department is fucked. It's the biggest cock-up ever. We're all completely fucked.

Day time... good... Easter weekend good... lack of confirmed place to drnik... bad...

    bad bad bad....

Need somewhere with parking for bikes, open on saturday, sells booze...

that's most of the pubs in town dammit - and here we are back at the original problem.....

OK... if we want scenery and good company (and the weather is ok... remember this IS Easter we're talking about)... how bout the bbqs at Corwall Park. Come in off Greenlane Road, down the avenue de trees (like that little bit of French there...?!?)

... ahem... when you get to the roundabout you will be around 150m from the bbqs... slightly to the left, ahead of you. Not sure how to get to them but you go left... ish... just after the roundabout and weedle your way there ("weedle" a technical twerm meaning make it up as you go along coz I'm incapable of adequatley describing it...).

OR... if it's raining... and it IS EASTER so It WILL BE RAINING... I suggest the Muddy Farmer on Wyndham Street. GREAT pub, food drinking and little music... all Irish atmosphere and plenty of parking if needed in the Wilson's carpark next door, or down th street or... you get the idea.

For those that need to know It's under the Heritage Hotel, which was the old Farmers building. Find the Casino (the one with the huge willie sticking 200m up into the air... aka the Sky Tower) and it's about a 2 min ride from there.

Without reading back through all the messages... Saturday Midday work for every one - just for 2 or 3 hours?
