    I'm moving to Wellington

    Well, back to Wellington.

Got a call tonight and offered a job. They're paying for moving costs, Motels and transport for a month till we get set up, and a slight pay increase on top of it.

Strange world, only 18 months ago I got promoted up to Auckland, did that for 6 months, quit, started a new job, and now getting sent back home. Make the final call tomorrow, and get given times and dates sometime shortly after.

Believe it or not, i'm gonna miss Auckland though, I don't despise it nearly as much as I did 18 months ago. I've made a metric-butt load of friends up here, including many KBers, just started to get to know the good riding roads well.

At least you Auckland folks will have another option of somewhere to stay when you're tiki-touring across the North Island.

If anyone knows of anyone with a House to rent in the Western, Northern suburbs with 2+ Bedrooms and a Garage (This is a deal-breaker), let me know.

I've got those damned butterflies having a house party in my stomach again.

What sort of work do you do that companies want to promote you all around the countryside while increasing your pay?

You think the Auckland bitches are harsh

Congratulations Gubb! Grab these opportunities when they come along. Any idea of a leaving date? We gotta have a knees up before you go

    I think it's a battle tactic!

What's up with this Gubb - you meet me one day and the next day you announce you're moving to Wellington?? I'll try not to take it personally

It's a large format retail chain. Nothing special. They've asked me to take over a struggling branch.

    Gubb, congrats.

Do you need someone to get your triple to welly?
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

    Northern Suburbs eh?

Would that be Johnsonville, Porirua, or Hutt Valley way?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
