An open invertation to all riders passing thru CHCH or leaving chch to go to the brass monkey rally.
There is a group of us (about 20 bikes so far) leaving Just Motorcycles 57 Hawke St New Brighton Chch on Friday 29th May at 2pm to head towards the brass monkey. There is a support vehicle going that can take your gear (tenst sleeping bags etc) at no charge (van space bookings essential), gear to be at the shop on THURSDAY AFTERNOON so we can pack it.... All gear MUST be properly labeled with the owners name and contact phone number. We have orginised cut price accomidation in Oamaru for the friday night at a cost of $35 per person on a share room basis at the Armada motor inn 500 thames highway oamaru. You need to book a space with them DIRECT on 03 4379040 by friday 15th and say you are booking with the Just Motorcycles group to get the discount. Saturday morning up and away by 10am (to let the roads clear a bit) and at the site by 2pm at the latest. There will be a big tent for socialising under cover and a gas bbq so bring something to put on it if you like.
The van will leave the site at 10am on sunday and it is your responcability to have your gear back at the van by 9.30am. If you miss the van its your problem as the van driver needs to be back in CHCH by late afternoon for work.
We are a really social group of fun lovin riders. Our bikes range from Harley davidsons to GSXR1000s and everything in between. Come join us.....
