What date do you arrive?

On the first of July we'll be hitting Christchurch harder than Veitch and his wife.

We can put you up in Napier, but will be away for a few days starting July 3, so you have to be out of here by then.
We have spare beds and safe garaging.

I see that you already have a HB offer. But I be happy to be the "Plan B in Hawke's Bay". No plans of going anywhere and heaps of space. Add to that tools and a garage of bits (that my g/f has no understanding for and often misguidedly refers to as junk that should be put on a trailer and taken to the dump!) that can get most bikes functional again after a holocaust.

Have stayed at Brain's Place Backpackers at Tokomaru Bay (about 90km north of Gisborne) and can recommend it - saves trying to carry the tent.

Have a great trip - I've done the East Cape - beautiful bike riding roads and nice scenery - hope you have a decent petrol tank - you'll need it the higher up the cape you get.
