    Intake is not touched...
Greg had mentioned possibilities of toying with the intake manifold at the post-run-in check, but they left it as standard. Stock airbox is still on. Siple things like driling out the airbox is possible.
The rotary-dial FI controller looks like some easy adjustments are available should i decide to play with the intake sooner/later
    Anyone got suggestions?

I was keen on leaving everything looking standard. But work required to keep the stock muffler shell was to be quite an expensive luxury.
So go the standard exhaust chopped off, and got a straight-through tapped on the end - gold body, and with the ONLY tip available coincidentally the same colour as my scoot! (not that it reaaaaally matters, but not a bad thing) =) and only $70, compared to $150+ on modding the stock unit.
Certainly like the straight-thru's off-throttle. semi-on throttle and cruising notes - nearly bike like
The hard throttle-on note begins to reveal its true nature of being just a raucous scooter :scoot:
All 25mm outlet piping pretty much.

    Mmmmm....2stroke

If i could bolt my rs250's or other modern 2T motor into the UZ, i think i would!!!

I prefer the small-body chassis of the UZ (similar to AZ50/Jog!) over the slightly larger/heavier Vespa and the taller peugots/gileras...

I wouldve thought a worked PX would have been an absolute rocket that would decimate a sub 200cc 4stroke? dunno too much about the innards compared to the Runner etc, but guessing its an older tech unit?

Nearly picked up an unused but 2006 Runner at TripleX a few months back instead of doing the upgrade, but some Italian bought it in a weekend between the Friday i first saw it and the couple weeks i took to find out what was available for upgrade options!

maybe next should be one of those trick trumpet intakes designed for the uz,a power comander so you can adjust the fuel mix and a better rear shock, think they had a hd shock to fit the uz at scootling, then a larger front disk and caliper

Danchop, sounds like youve played with UZ in the past or at the mo?

Stock brakes def leave a lot to be desired =/
Shocks are 'OK' but nothing compared to a bike.
What is the benefit of the trumpet intakes? Differences to just sticking a pod filter on the current intake?
