I'd rather sand wood than bog, plastic or steel....how often do you want a mirror finish on wood????
and joiners dont "proper" sand... they only have 3 different grits... and one is called "coarse" or sumfin (and then there's the "emery paper" people)![]()
Dunno, but wood polishes well...Originally Posted by Blakamin

As for a mirror finish on wood, you'd be amazed what people demand..

so does ya R1, but I couldn't see them using coarse grit and a belt sander when they fixed it....Originally Posted by StoneChucker
and it prolly wouldn't handle that well if it was made outta table legs and a kitchen cupboard door and french polished....

and on wood you'd never know if they had just used 80, 150 and 250.... where's the 1600 wet 'n dry? the "blocked back and hand cut"?Originally Posted by NC30_chick
Awwww ya forgot the 40, 60 grits and all the higher ones than the 250.....lolOriginally Posted by NC30_chick

My arms are just not long enough to reach wellytown, remember the sooner you start the sooner you finish...
Does that mean that the bike is a not so red one?
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
DA sander should do the job.
