A wet winter?

In case nobody has noticed ... it has been a bit wet over the past few months down here in the south island. As a result, most of the hydro dams have been spilling water. The Clyde dam is no exception. I went for a ride today, around the area ... it was trying hard to rain, but more damp than actual (west coast) rain. Most I put in "My Albums", but have included a few in this thread. I went for a ride to Lake Hawea yesterday, and they were spilling too.

Unless we get more rain, and I'm pretty sure we will, Auckland may get more power cuts this year too.

It might take their minds off motorway "extensions" ...
