Cmon guys and gals need to get those rides in before the weather packs in!!
Well it's official. If I want to go on rides, I'm gonna have to take wife-ie's bike. I found out my bike is made...and sitting waiting for some friends to make the trip down under. It's obviously scared of the dark and doesn't want to go into a container by itself without someone to hold it's hand. So they reckon 6-7 more weeks...after it was ordered in November. Like Brooke said "I hope it's worth it".

    No shit!

So when I come back from holiday, I shall be joining y'all for a ride.

First time for MISRED up that way, (other than on the back of mine). Great to see her riding with some real confidence. zipping past cars, taking on the corners & generally having a blast. Lots of traffic for a non holiday weekend & that bridge coming home was jammed. Came home via Paeroa & Te Aroha. Was only about 5 k's longer & by far a better route than across the plains. Star & Garter @ Coro a great lil pub. Up n back to Coro a real good option if you don't want to do the full loop.
Last round of NZ bike champs @ HD raceway 27-28 March , think its only $12-15 to get in but don't quote me .
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............

[QUOTE but you should've seen the guys face at VTNZ when I complained his eye test machine was faulty - it was out of focus
'oh I don't think it's the machine sir'
    opps, bugger[/QUOTE]

No Smoky, I reckon your right about the VTNZ machine - I've had a feckin hard time with it when I went in recently for learners and restricted. Both times I thought I was gonna fail!
And the joker there is not the most patient or customer-focussed ( I was gonna suggest he get a personality transplant)
I'm gonna try the modern eye machine at AA next time...

Saw you guys comming down the hill just south of Coro. Didnt pick the group till i saw Murry at the back.
I was on my way home from "The end of the road Rally" A ride the Hamilton Motorcycle Club organise. Spent the night at Fletchers Bay, about 36 km of gravel once you get past Coleville. Beautiful scenery when you get up near the top.

Unless they're changed the machines at AA, I'd be careful. The wife "failed" there since they have no adjustment or something. She went to the eye people and she had better than 20/20.

    Oh, is that right?
I'm sure my eyesight is good as too, although my mum did use to tell me that certain activities that I engaged in were bad for my eyes
