If you wanna ride through the gorge go the back way. You go through a little town starting with 'M' on the west coast and the roads are awesome. You pop out just after the long straight before the service station in Awakino. It's a big ride though, about 350km round trip and takes 4 hours easy. Spazm found out my bike is currently "in transit" somewhere. I like said "yeah probably on a lorry in the UK!" I'd cry if I had to wait another 3 months.

Wow a bonny. I wouldn't have thought you'd be a Bonny guy. I love the cafe racer look so I would be a modded Thruxton is I was to get a Bonny based bike. This would be of course after I had a Stripple in the garage as well

yeah they don't have many bends in America and I spent all my time riding farm bikes over there, real weird getting back onto a sports bike after riding dirt bikes for so long. left the group and went for a little spin through te pahu instead of kawhia (I got lost haha)
seems my riding has changed a bit over the months...not sure if it's better or worse yet but I seem to be riding a bit faster...and the bike rides like I was never gone.
one thing i'm trying to confirm...has ACC levies increased rego payments already or do they go up in July (have I still got time)
