Nice route Eric - would be there but got 200 hungry cows @ work that I gotta go tend to. They won't let my guys out that normally do this while I'm not there . Funny that
Been told there's a great little detour down that way - turn off into Arohena school & follow ya nose down to Arapuni. Going to have a look at it next time I'm down that way.
Have a good ride guys & keeep the shiny side up huh

Surprisingly the weather forecast looks goodish. No rain just cold. Not sure if i will make it down. Shit keeps vibrating loose on my bike.

Magic day for riding...couldn't do the LOR but did get out for about 160km...Pirongia, Te Awamutu, Kihikihi, Arapuni Road, back via Maungatautari Rd to Leamington, Kaipaki Rd, Mystery Creek Rd, Raynes Rd and back into Glenview...

Saw what may have been the LOR on Maungatautari Rd...?

Great day - clear cold air - could see forever...

Well i got the ol girl home with the hole in the radiator.. She only really got hot just before leaving you guys at the intersection of old taupo & wiltsdown Rd and again going through cambridge... i wonder if she's got a plugging agent in the coolant already as the leak had stopped by the time i got to cambridge but the temp seemed okay... or with the left to right radiator headers it started to not fill the radiator right up to the hole

I too got out for a wee 170 km run this avo. Found a lil stunner back road today - well worth a re-visit sometime soon. Awsome afternoon & the cafe on kaipaki Rd (not the creamery) is a great spot too. We have some great, great roads in the waikato if ya look around a bit.

ARGH! I'm so so jealous of you all. I had to work today too. I'm totally over working weekends, done it for far too long. Had to drive to Tauranga and back too and saw many many bikers and group of bikers - and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves as much as you lot. Bastards. Lucky bastards! Unbelievable but true I'm hoping I can join in next weekend.. if it doesn't pour down. Heck, at this point I'd probably go out even if it was torrential. great to hear you all had such a good ride (give or take a few mls of coolant).
