looks like the weather is gonna really set in for Sunday ................bummer. Would suggest to those that can, squeeze a ride in tomorrow cos I think the rest of the weekends gonna be screwed. Might be wrong , but I don't think so. Have an awesome route planned as well !! Will ride only if fine as I have a new front foot on the girl which has only done 5 Kms & i also don't like gettn wet........ much. Anyway, we might pop down for Brekky regardless.
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............

    Yep, I'm keen.

Finalised the deal on me new wheels today.

2004 custom Bonneville with Keihin racing carbs, Procom ignition, hi-flow fuel tap etc etc.

Many thanks to our man Mike who gave me a quick and cheap loan to make it all happen. Recommend you go see Mike if you're in need of a bit of cash.

Can't figure out how to attach pictures (hey, I've only just figured out how to send multi quotes!) but I've stuck a photo of the bike on as my profile picture if anyone wanna have a look.
Soon, you'll hear me before you see me!

Must get someone to show how you do the attachment thingy.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty neat machine.

You're right about the clothing, my Quasi gears might look a bit out of place eh!
AMPS in Aux has some pretty sweet retro gears...

Can't wait to get on the goddam thing - enquired about the insurance status riding on R licence - no cover if ya tip over.

Sent away to Jack Lilley for a tacho kit - ya gotta have that - and booked her in for a Mongoose alarm - cher, cher.

I have a slightly retro looking jacket I'd love to sell - Jet Leathers cruiser jacket - "Sturgis" is the model - can be seen on the website...beautiful leather...

Yeah I know, I've been refreshing that page every 15 minutes waiting for a miracle.

Oh, mr.slofox on the off-chance you are interested: there was a sweet little diecast model of a GSXR600 that I saw at Farmers Chartwell today marked down 30% because of a damaged box. It was black, but could be something for the grandkids to paint?

Hey Murray - what is the cost for my daughter for the brekkie... is it a tenner too?
How old is she?? You may be lucky getting fed tomorrow anyway

WARNING: we are looking at nearly 260 people for breakfast tomorrow so it may not be pleasent, I would suggest you look at next week instead!! Dependent on weather do not know how many will turn up. If its nasty and ugly I won't be going but keeping fingers crossed

    Today
    Saturday 5
Areas of morning cloud and a few fog patches in sheltered places. Cloud increasing during the day and scattered light rain spreading from the north in the evening. Northeast winds, freshening in the afternoon.
    Tomorrow
    Sunday 6
Rain, with heavy falls possibly developing and northeasterlies becoming strong and gusty in exposed places. Rain easing late afternoon or evening with winds abating.

    Hope they are wrong! (again)

Well I'm not doing the brekky thing then If there ain't enough hashies, it ruins my day. haha.

I wasn't gonna ride but just turn up for a feed with y'all, but doesn't seem like a good plan with that many people. Kitchen will be busy as hell.

I was planning on heading down to the naki for a blat but decided that might be unwise when it was pointed out that I've done 850kms and it goes in for the 1st service at 800! Adding another 500kms I don't think would be the best thing for it without the oil changed.

Dazz, that is one seriously old school ride! Super cool. I attached a photo for ya off Trademe. Dunno what one you have on your profile but I thought this one gave a good idea what the Racer was like.
