Oh man - more fix ups? That's sucky. No worries, I'm gonna ride out to Rags and enjoy the lovely sunshine by myself then. Looks like it's gonna close in again by the weekend (and then be fine again all next week - typical).

Went out for a frosty run this morning - left about 7.15am, temperature 0.7C at the time...verily, 'twas a willy-wilter...despite the heated grips. (Someone needs to invent a motorbike peter-heater...)

Nice run though - super clear air, dry road, not too much traffic...

Came across a dude in a van on the way back who had tried to do a u-turn on Meadway Road and had gotten his van stuck down the grass verge - wet slippery grass and a bit of a deep dip off the side of the road. Stopped to see if he needed anything - he asked me to whip up to Krippner's Garage to ask the dude there for a tow out. Which I did. But the garage guy just said "Nah - we don't do recoveries, only WOF's..." and wouldn't help...He gave me a lecture about how nobody helped anybody any more because of "liability"...WTF? Never heard such bullshit in my life...Well damn, I would have helped - I meantasay, I did as far as I could...didn't think the gixxer was up to towing a van out of a hole though...

Luckily when I got back to the van the driver had got someone else to help him out. Someone who was not afraid of "liability"...

    Gawd, what next?

    weather forecast slightly better

    Tomorrow

Mostly cloudy, with occasional showers developing in the morning. Westerly winds, strong at times.

    Sunday 13

So get off ya bums and come riding - what does it matter if you go a couple of 100 kms over your service level Ckai. Get tough man!!

Rides in the calendar and milan promises you he has some great roads to travel!!

I wish i was back home at the moment.
The temp broke into triple digits today, thats about 38 -39 deg celcius. Thats bloody hot. Any place that has air con is a god send.
Seeing some nice bikes, lots of Harleys and Gold Wings, but also seen a couple of lowered, and stretched Busas, and bloody Gixxers are quite popular too. Not a lot of people wearing protective gear, although you do have to wear a helmet here in Georgia. Will try and get some pics to post if i get a chance.

Cripes! too hot for me. You can almost understand why people aren't wearing too much protective gear in those temps.

Mmmmmm...you'd wonder why wouldn't ya, given that most of the residents don't have anything in their heads anyway...
