Good ride this morning. Roads a mix of wet and dry. Shame there wasn't any gas at Te Uku! Hit reserve halfway through the waingaro road. Managed to get to Whatawhata with about a litre spare (which is good for 20 odd k's so wasnt too bad).

Anyone riding tomorrow morning? I got work again at 1 so could be keen to head out again.

Oh yeah and good to meet everyone. Forgot names straight away though. Except Warrs his stuck for some reason

    Not good for tomorrow

    Tomorrow
    Sunday 4
Rain setting in during the morning. Freshening easterlies

So may be a clean the bike and 4.00pm visit to the Te Rapa Tavern to watch the Warriors

We must get a good Sunday soon so we can all meet up and put some faces to names and go for a decent ride. I think next one may be up Kaiuia way for Fish & chips and on further to Clevedon and back.

I might head out this arvo about 3.00pm if the dry holds. Get off work at 2 and have cancelled our competition tonight so have an afternoon OFF! Woohoo, that don't happen very often...

    Noice ride this arvo...

Glenview to Whatawhata, up to Ngaruawahia and thence to Huntly (via west bank). West on Rotowaro Rd to grab the tag and return. 112km return. Dry roads, not too much traffic some nice sweepy corners with a little squeeze applied - what more could a man ask for..? Despite incipient influenza knocking at the door, I felt on top of the world...(until I got home of course...)

Rocket do a few "single origin" coffees these days - kinda like a single vineyard wine. Beans from one farm. Usually winners of "cup of excellence" awards. All money goes to the farmer BTW.

My ultimate pick? San Julian from Guatemala..mmmMMMMMMMmmmmmmm!

Sounds like we need a laxed out coffee crawl... although might not be too laxed out after the third or fourth stop. Waikato Wired Up Riders?
Raglan Roast (in Raglan down the alleyway by the video store) also do a mean brew. Any other good coffee spots around Waikato worth a ride? So often disappointed when in the countryside - getting presented with a cup half-full of cold burnt froth. (Yes, I am a coffee snob... hard to avoid having lived in Wellington for 10 years).

    Mainly fine, with light winds.

    Sunday 11
    Dry with little wind.

    Monday 12

Thats it, will organise a ride for Sunday and put in Calendar.

Any suggestions - first in may be first served - or will discuss at tavern on Wednesday
