Raglan and back yesterday with a little group. Nice dry roads but quite a lot of traffic. Including some loony on a sporty who was on my side of the road in a corner that he couldn't see around...fuckwit...
Went and had a look this morning at a little loop that a guy I know recommended. See post 2869...
Some quite nice sweepy stuff but a lot of mud and cowshit on the road by every farm gate. And there are lots of them along there too...need to keep some sense engaged as a result.

Me and a mate went for a putt-putt to Napier (some of the locals pissed us off).
Was a good ride on the way back and the leathers are well and truly flexed up.
This is a good ride. Done it a couple of times now.
I've spent quite a few hours in that huge area east of Otorohanga - Otewa Valley and further east..and south...and north. Been lost a few times as well and have ventured up a few no exit roads by mistake and had to beat a hasty retreat to get away from the wild hillbillies up there...with their pitchforks and ropes...
Lots of cool roads in there...

Anyone looking at going to the Mag-NZ launch in Auckland? May make the run up, anyone else keen?
(Dont ask me why I would even think of traveling to Dorkland voluntarily)

Saturday 2 A few showers and fine spells. Southwest breezes.
Sunday 3 Mainly fine. Light winds.
There will be a ride on this Sunday leaving the Kingsgate Hotel Carpark at 10.30 sharpish. Destination to be advised after Te Rapa Tavern meeting on Wednesday (yes theres still about 10 or so people who turn up every Wednesday night)
Calendar entry will be entered on Thursday.

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
Its this Sunday and the south meet point for Auckland is BP Papkura (Autobahn) at 10 am for 10.30 departure, so any run from the Waikato would need to arrive there by that time ready for the run into the city. Any suggestions for a meeting time/place??? From the looks of it, the south leg is being organised by Caseye.

This Sunday I'm attending a track day at Puke, I'll be the slow one getting eaten down the straights. But all good![]()
