From what i understand the DB killer on the TBR is one where you take it out from behind by unscrewing the back plate?

Loud when you're on the bike...FUCKEN loud when you go past someone. Apparently it sounds like a demon full noise at the track You get used to it though. At anything below 4k rpm it's not loud just throaty (my under 2 sleeps threw it). On longer trips it does tire you out. My head was ringing when I rode to Napier last year. I would threw in my quieter db killer on long trips.

The only big difference in noise is when you open them up. Without the killer it's nuts at the higher rev range.

I take mine out all the time to clean. They're an absolute prick to keep clean. I have the carbon one as well. I do like the look of the black series ones though.

I remember Mr Fox's SV with the TBR's. It sounded bloody good.

I have tomorrow and Thursday off. A workmate will be riding his bike at an evening track day at Hampton Park ( 5pm ). I'll go for a run up HW22 in the afternoon and see how he goes, then cruise back via back roads.

Hopefully, it will be dark by then and I'll get a bit of a run after dark. May even head on to Port Waikato and try for some sunset photos on the coast.

For remapping have a look at this site. Its a free download and I have the program and the OBDII cable required. Its piss easy to use and a good place to start with remapping. If you want to borrow the cable just let me know.

Nice. Will have to look into this one. All I want is to remap it for the new pipe and air filter

Heaps of maps on TuneECU site, just check your VIN number then pick one that suits.

    Question of the Day

Is Shona (Mz Tulip) shouting a round of drinks at the clubrooms tonight for getting her full license??

No it not topher1150, topher was the Ride leader on a BMW CS. The GS 1100 with top box and fairing belongs to John from Te Awamutu and yes he's part of Ulysses

I think they are talking about this Light house?
Good judgment comes from experience. Unfortunately, the experience usually comes from bad judgment.
