Just checked with Glenn at Boyd's about the ride this Sunday.

Departure time is 9.00am, not 9.30.

So if ya don't wanna hafta play catch up, be there at 9.00 or earlier.

Yep saw that which according to google maps leaves very little room for back roads.

Yeah but that route takes in the Awakino Gorge...

And you could always return round the back of Kawhia - if ya don't mind about 11km of gravel up to Marakopa. I've ridden it so it can't be very challenging.

Yep looks like a pretty big days ride and the Boyds groups generally do not muck around, so good riding to those going. Still looking at a pootle on the Monday (Anniversary Day). Might do Kiaua via the back roads. Anyone keen?? - pub night tonight see what peoples think??
