NOPE. It blew up actually...... Snapped the cam chain and sent a nice shiny valve on a collision course with the piston. So new motor on the wish list. Decided to get the CB so I have a bike while I get the Daytona repaird. Once new motor is in I will turn it into track only bike. Got the Carbon Fibre fairings comming in from USA, and am on the lookout for a seccond hand motor.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Well that's OK then. So you get a Honda so everyone thinks you're gay on the road then smoke them with Trumpy goodness on the track? haha

Something like that. Give them a false sense of security then sneak up behind them and give them a jolly good rogering

I knew that's why 'sportsbike' riders like that "Bent over" position

    enjoying the fog hamiltonions?

Being my first season riding in fog, the last two days for the uninitiated were fun. i ride to work @ rotokauri where there is much fog in the morning. so today i got a progrip fog insert. what do the battle hardened hamiltonions use?

    A car.

But seriously I have scott anti fog cleaner. Works ok but you have to use it on the visor every ride as it comes off easily. Next helmet will have a pinlock insert which should stop all fogging in the visor.

Otherwise I ride with the visor cracked open slightly. This only works when it is not raining.

My HJC came with a pinlock fitted. Was not a great success. The top of the pinlock would catch on the rubber seal around the top of the opening. It also let moisture in between the two faces. I will get another one tho' and give it another try. The HJC visor is quite thin and flexible. That may not have helped with sealing.

3 suggestions (in order of importance):

    1. Pinlock
    2. Pinlock Insert
    3. New helmet with pinlock visor

The reason people carry on about them is they are that good. There are only 2 things I will always have from now on for new helmet/new bike; a pinlock insert and Techspecs.

We tried the antifog spare that sil3nt uses and even though it's stuff all ($15-ish) I would actually put the money towards a pinlock. Dunno about the other inserts, in theory they should work just as well, in theory anyway.

Riding in fog is an asshole though. It's just annoying.

I won't be buying HJC again. Have had the plastic screws holding the visor on come loose on both mine and my partners helmets. Hers came loose soon after buying it mine just the other week when the right hand side came away completely from the helmet when riding. Cheap helmets but rubbish visor systems.

I just got a new Shark RSX helmet. One thing I noticed that the shield is 3mm thick. No pinlock, but great air vent system that also directs some air onto the visor from the inside thus eliminating fog. i have tested it for last two mornings and even with heavy breathing there was zero fog. It is also by far the lightest (at 1350g) and quietest lid I have ever owned. And this is going from Arai RX7 Corsair (loudest) and AGV XR2 GP spec lid. I have now retired both my Arai and AGV and will only use the new Shark from now on

i got the progip http://www.motomail.co.nz/estore/sty...islsclear.aspx from boyds as the reviews seemed excellent for anti-fog but crap for light sensitivity. Then again there was the $20 option http://www.motomail.co.nz/estore/style/rjfogflm.aspx

I am offered a Shoei (recommended from a customer) and I've read sharks is one of the best. if this progrip is crap i think i will get another helmet. thanks all.
