It is also by far the lightest (at 1350g) and quietest lid I have ever owned. And this is going from Arai RX7 Corsair (loudest) and AGV XR2 GP spec lid. I have now retired both my Arai and AGV and will only use the new Shark from now on
I got me one of these

when I got the triple, bestest helmet I've had on my noggin and the visor won't fog

Those sharks look not bad, have you compared it to the shoei xr 1100?

Yeah, I don't have a Shoei head, most of my jaw hangs out the bottom of the helmet. Only other option for me was Arai, don't know why I didn't buy one.

Sharks are bit weird in a way. When i was choosing my model, I tried few different ones. I found that RSI was more like Shoei shape, and RSX/RSR2 were more like Arai. You need to try a Shark and take it for a spin before you learn to appreciate it. For me was a 30min ride out to WhataWhata and few back roads and I was sold. Like I said, I retired my Arai RX7 Corsair (arguably the best helmet in the world) and went to Shark RSX, and don't have any regrets. You will definately notice the difference on a longer ride. The helmet is so comfortable and so quiet.

Shoei XR1100 with pinlock for me would'nt use anything else but a pinlock system & if your current lid don't make a pinlock system you can make it fit ( fitted a Shoei pinlock to my Nitro Aerotech ) as long as the insert fits your visor then you can make the pinlock fit
I Used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass

+1. Pinlock is the best by a country mile. Good venting to clear a fogged visor is useless if you're at traffic lights or stuck in slow moving traffic

Haven't had any problems yet stuck in traffic on a cold foggy morning. And I made sure I was breathing hard trying to fog it up. and nothing. What else have you been doing in yours?

Thumbs up Anyone at a Loss for something to do this Weekend.

Waikato Ulysses is heading down to the Tihio pub on the Western bypass for a "gathering of the clans" Apparently there will be a pig on a spit and an $8.00 charge for lunch.
If anyone is at a lose end and needs to get out of the "Tron" and away from the noise of the V 8's and all the traffic you are welcome to join us. Just show up at Te Awamutu Caltex before 9.30 am Sunday 22 April. The weather forecast is looking good. Heres hoping for another magic day of riding.

Any other rides on Sunday? Highly doubt I'll be in a position to ride but ya never know. It's been a while since Sonic II has been out. So long in fact the tyres have lost 10psi.

On another note, anyone selling their classy 250(ish)? The old lady is kinda looking and hasn't ridden since her early days. Looking at $5k or under. I say kinda because if she see's something that tickles her fancy she'll buy one. I say classy as in cruiser types. Something easy for an old lady (tapping on the door of 60 years young).
