    For me (and not exclusively)

    Ohautira Rd
    Ngaroma Rd
    Te Anga Rd
+1 for Ngaroma & Te Anga

and adding SH6 and Davos to Stelvia via Bormio

Oh sorry, you said Waikato...my bad

Besides, I don't really know the names of roads, I just remember I like them when I'm on them.

SH1, SH2, and other long, overly caged roads with cheese cutters

To be honest, I find Arupini Rd a little boring (pretty much the opposite to Slofox ), and I get bored with long straights as well.

Anything that involves constant throttle at 100 km/h is a little lame for me. And before anyone goes there - riding any section like that at 200km/h doesn't make it any less lame.

...depends on HOW you ride it, ckai...don't spend too much time on it...if ya know what I mean...

Try Ouruwhero Road from Otorohanga to Te Awamutu via Pokuru if you want something more interesting...watch the humpback bridge just south of Te Awamutu - I took it a little faster than usual this morning, stood up on the pegs as I went over and just about rotated forward over the handlebars...added interest to the ride...

Does anybody get a bit unsettled riding down narrow backcountry sealed roads with no road markings on it ?

I know i've heard a few people say that it's not fun meeting stock truck and trailer units on them. And my only motorcycle accident involved a car doing a 5 piont U turn on one 30mtrs after a blind corner in a 100km/h zone.. i nearly stopped before the impact.. I still love the roads though

I do not mind them too much, one just has to keep well left and slow down for crests and most blind corners.

I am not fast anyhow so suites me just nice

The only part I do not like about them is gravel, wet spots, cow shit etc..
