Showing 200kph on a public road isn't the brightest of ideas.

+1, we don't really want the law and the do gooders seeing these kind of displays on our favourite local roads, a lot of us

At least he is getting good fuel economy
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

Fair enough, I hadn't seen the fences down the sides of the road. Not knocking the video, I enjoyed it, just hide the speedo next time.

Years ago the Police use to watch this site, the bragging and heroic talk found a good number being looked at closely, on one occasion, eight lost their licence from one group ride. Easy pickings when they (the cops) know where the ''offending'' is taking place on a regular basis.

One cop car followed three of us to the start point of one of my group rides. I had posted (as ride organiser) where I would meet up for fuel, that's when we noticed the cop car across the road from the servo. He followed us for 10-12 km to the start point, where he came and talk to us about how we conduct ourselves on the road. We were parked up at Hooten reserve, a captive audience really.

Will the ride to Raglan on Sunday take the Waingaro rd from Narrow whakea? (can't spell). If so, I will ride through to there and meet up.

Nice day - for Whakamaru Rd.

South to Whakamaru for coffee and the pie then over the dam and back up to Old Taupo and north via that route. Back home via Arapuni Road.

There are some areas on Waipapa Rd where the sun hasn't shone for a bit which are wet and slippery looking. Oh a bit of chip loss in places.

Pity I have to work tomorrow. I'd do it again.

I had a good ride today... Hamilton to Okoroire Pub via Karapiro (and back), and then out towards Raglan and then a right up to the Waingaro Hotel and back to Ngaruawahia.

Sadly my GoPro charger on my bike decided to stop working, so I didn't get any footage because my GoPro battery was flat

You should've got the Waikato tag while at Oko. Would have been a cracker day for a run. I get 2hr 20min from my gopro battery. Dont lose the little side cover, I have one coming for mine, $16.00. I will be taping it to the body in future.

I never pay attention to the tags. I have a wired USB power cable on my bike specifically installed for my GoPro... but I think the fuse may have blown.
