Laxed out rides

Hi All time i got back into this thing beena few years since i logged on, i take delivery of a street triple next weekend so will be keen to get out for rides again,
Have been taking the easy option and have had a boat for the last few years enjoying the fishing but now had to get the bike fix back.

Would be keen to get out for a ride again

They are out there, those elusive WLOR riders, but they seldom post these days, wind em up a bit, us Dorklanders will travel for a good ride, so post on newly reacquainted with a motorcyle you.

No movement on this thread for a while. Recently moved to Cambridge and back on a bike (MV Agusta 800 Brutale), looking for riding companions in and around the Waikato.
Next door neighbour (Yam mt07) also a starter.

Someone needs to pickup this thread and drive it. years ago we had 10-30 riders most Sundays and met up once during the week at the Te Rapa Tavern, Good times and life long mates. Someone puts in the effort and this group could be rebuilt!

Yep, w../they came from far away too. We'd travel , the Ratbag and I, if there was a ride to go on.

Me too. Good rides in the Waikato, especially the south and west.

I'm keen but never around. In Tamahere most weekends [often working my second job]. Then have to head back to the big smoke Sundays for that work thing that pays for the bike....

Will keep an eye on anything organized and join if I can.

So there are no Waikato organised rides, this all petered out? Are folks just occasionally riding with their mates now?

I was one of the original members like murray, been off a bike for a while and now finally have one so would be keen to get out on a ride with similar individuals at some point

I have done some rides with LOR a while ago, and been along to some of the mcrides events, usually Wednesday after work. Nothing happening ATM due to the weather/lack of daylight.

My bike in the garage on hold over the winter while I sort some new paint for it.

still lurking around the Waikato haven't paid much attention to this forum of late been doing my own thing, I tend to organise my rides based on weather even over winter but normally summer on I get out more so I may post something up from time to time if you can handle 400km+ rides & only stopping for fuel & a quick drink not into stopping for hour long feeds I would rather be riding

We go out most Sundays and end up at the pigeon
