    good old trademe, the sellers reckon(originally) the retail price is $3995(then dropped to $3495) im not sure if they have any listed...

    well ok I looked and they do, and what do ya know they have dropped the price coz it seems they are trying to get rid of them lol. They sold too many via $1 reserve id say and now people know they arent the best for the price when you could get a fxr for around the same or a bit cheaper. And they have tried to make it look good. Id NEVER deal with these people again, and id be lucky to get a decent trade at a proper dealer.
    why dont you review it and make it known if they are shit....

    Yeah that is good stuff. I just have polyprops at he moment. I am thinking of trying to find a windproof underlayer, seems it is the wind that gets me more than the actual cold.

    Are you wearing icebreaker under your leathers? If it is straight on your skin does it itch much? I don't really care if they aren't breathable. Not wearing them long enough in one stretch for it to matter

    Normally through the winter I can get away with wearing x2 layers of thermals. leather pants with shower proof trousers over the top this keeps most of the chill out, having just returned from a North Island escape
    ( which was covered in black ice, fog infested, single digit riding weather ) this setup kept me sane around them there mountains
    I Used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass

    [QUOTE=Murray;1129227210]Hi Guys & Girls

    Back from a few days away. took the car down to wellington via Forgotten highway. Its a great road and I think you would all love it. Only concern was the 12 km of packed dirt road. The council fix the holes by dumping shovel loads of gravel in the holes and leaving it for the cars to flatten down. 1/2 of it had just been done so bit of a pain. Whangamonamoana republic was pretty much as expected and we had a good meal at the pub!! leaving

    Came back home this way on Tuesday, gravel section much better now than when Jamal & I did it a month or two ago........ the difference being this time ??? imagine riding on black ice but in a mud colour the view from Tahora saddle rest stop was breath taking, the three sister's in the far distance had a nice cap of snow on them all, magic

    You can get them at R & R Sport in Hamilton & many of the good outdoor pursuits stores.. they'll cost you an arm and a leg but they're supposed to be pretty good.. Ice Breaker have a couple of outlet stores in Auckland which can save you around $50 a shirt.. It's Merino wool and it's much finer than most other wools

    Yeah man the wind is the killer, i found the rainshell i got stops the wind nicely, of course the bike's off the road at the moment so i can't say conclusively that it works really well hehe

    I haven't got icebreakers yet, saving as they are pretty serious on the cost side but polyprops do a fairly good job

    Soft cock here can tell you all about them He's still not convinced they're worth the money. Never buy icebreaker at normal retail prices. It's always on sale and bivouac sells old stock online for good value. Otherwise make a trip up to Dorkland and save a bit at the outlet.

    You can get base layers for about $80 (discounted) and Jerseys sometimes for $90 (normally $250 at least). It's just thin and awesomely insulated. That's all I wear under my gears in the winter. Polypros smell too much and then they start too itch - any merino (icebreaker) doesn't really. If you hate wool - merino is better.

    In saying that, only cool people have icebreaker. Probably not for you Dom since you're in team Yamahahahahahaha.

    Murray - trippy clip - were you reliving your '70's Trip Sessions again?
