Its free at Hamilton Honda, looking forward to it, it will be good to know more than just riding the bike
May come down for a drink first.![]()

well my bike is still at Honda till they get it started so i'l give the tavern a miss tonite, hope it's good to go Sunday
You can ride a motorcycle any time of the month
Few missing last night but good to see Dave & Chrissie again and Kerry, Jim, Mental trousers, Paddy etc etc
A few will be away Sunday but some are still keen for a ride so we will be looking at leaving the Hotel at 11.00 am. Destination still a bit up in the air, according to reports Kawhia does have some grit on the road but it is evidently marked?? Sundays forecast scattered rain clearing
Also of note 2nd August we are doing a combined ride with Ulysses to some place called Kaiuia or something like that (evidently the best fish & Chip shop in the Nth Island). So pencil that date in and weather permitting lets all try and get out for this ride. The Ulysses guys are pretty keen on it so please make an effort to join this ride.
Also of note for those who did not turn up last night we won another $50 bartab which was enjoyed by all.
Cheers all

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
As mentioned heavily gritted at the moment, not very enjoyable at all
I was recently told that they had sealed this road which is the reason I went for a look, still very rideable as its had another layer of metal rolled into it..could be worth a look over summer
Not marked in all spots as I found out
West side of the Firth of Thames with a good feed to be had, very popular spot over the summer months

Well I was very impressed with the Ladies Motorcycle Night last night.
Quite a few ladies were there, prob would say around 50.
they really put on a great learning experiance from: what sort of riding gear to buy, tyre pressure, how to repair a flatty, chain maintenance, how to choose the a bike for you, and general maintenance.
Oh and a bit of FUN.... we got to do burnouts!!!!
we had a slow scooter race!!!.... ummmm very hard to do after a couple of glasses of bubbles tho..![]()
Not to mention the food and spot prizes....
There was a bit of entertainment from the Hamilton Honda Boys as they did'nt want to feel left out with all the girls there, so they dressed up as Drag Queens!! what a laugh, its kinda hard to take them seriously when... ah heshe is explaining how to do Burn Outs!
Well done Hamilton Honda and Motorcycle Trader, was a great night and the first in NZ!
ohhhh.... and Carver... you were the perfect DUMMY!!![]()

This will be a pottle througn lots of interesting back roads. Max speed 110 to 120 kms. Some of us from Ulysses will come for breakfast at the hotel on the Sunday morning. Otherwise start is at Rototuna BP at 10.30 am Assemble at 10.20 with a full tank of gas and an empty bladder.
I am the Ulysses runns leader for the day. On the way home I may opt for an interesting diversion through Bombay. The promise is that on the way home we will not touch State Highway 1 until Ngaruawahia.
cheers
Jim
