As you were then I think the wife saw you the other day (she was riding mine). She comes home and says, "I saw a yellow one today",
"Scorched yellow"
"What?"
"It's called scorched yellow, not yellow. Yellow would be like a canary. If you ride a Triumph you have to learn the colours. We have to sit a course and everything"
Apparently the SY's are an asshole if the paint gets damaged because no one can match exactly. They have to respray everything. That's only what I've been told though.
Bloody nice bike though mate. I do like the SY. Quite rare, especially mint ones.
I love mine. And yes it is mint, bar few tiny stonechips on the nose and couple of scuff marks where previous owner decided to put the tankbag. Mate of mine is a car painter, he will respray my tank when I am ready. He can also cut decals and was going to clear coat everything afterwards
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
It's me who has the S3. F*ck I hate Auckland! !!!!

Lucky bugger. You should do a custom job. SY and something else.
Yeah I knew you had one. I thought someone local has had just about every modern Trumpy. Obviously I was just dreaming and thought it was me
It'll be interesting to see if it can match up.
