Hell i almost thought my wife had posted on here for a second

I found that the 6 lappers at Manfeild were a tad short and really enjoyed the slightly longer races, 10-15 laps. Or around 15-20 minute races.

Lots of short races. Best racing I've had were a couple of couple `4x4' lap races back in 250 days with changing grids i.e. you just keep gridding up after a cool-down lap. Intense for riders & intersesting for spectators.
Long races generally end up being processions with people just circulating and wearing out tyres.

Gotta agree with that, it adds a further dimension, including setup that will preserve the tyres.

Yeah the most exciting races ive watched are longer length with pitstops/rider changes, inculding that last motogp race when they changed from wet bikes to dry bikes - interesting stuff!

I'd be into that, I quite like the longer races.

Yeah hardy ha lol but the point was it was interesting to see the tactics coming into play when to pit etc not the rain coming into play beforehand, if it was a dry race with a compulsary pit stop

I heard you had a short span of concentration Gary .

Or was that a short burst of stamina ????

Long races are awesome and the pit stops are hard to plan safely but a huge amount of fun and can change an entire race result.

    Paul.
I start praying for a flag (any flag !) after 4 or 5 laps nowdays ! I could never get into those 6 hour races, probably why I only entered a couple ? They always seemed like a fast road ride, give me 110 % effort, street meets any day.
(just a distant memory from my rocker now anyway, like you ? lol) Gaz.
