Only just caught up on this thread... big ups to both WT for upholding the honour of the north, and Aaron for taking the hit (both of them) with such good nature. I look forward to one day being good enough to play in your sandpits!!

    And Dangerous - great pics!!

Aaron - I have to say you must be a real gentleman, the way you graciously accept defeat (sorry about the off). Now it's time to change your bike details isn't it?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I saw 237 kmh just before hitting the picks into the bend. Im sure I went through a bit quicker later on but wasn't keen enough to take my eyes off the track to check. The front end starting moving about on one lap when braking into the bend, which is a bit more 'feel' than I usually like. I was thinking to myself is the front going to go west, and at the same time the corner is looming quickly so I daren't let go of the brakes. Great fun.

I am glad we were quite evenly paced so I had someone to play with - also helped me sort out better racing lines.

Oh, and I really liked Ruapuna cause the fast pricks on multi thousands didn't lap me for a change.

    Well fuck me!

Where the hell you been hiding?

I've been quietly reading this thread and progressively choosing larger and larger sized helmets off the shelf.

Big ups to Aaron, a truly good sport, one hell of a tough competitor and not too shabby in the ol' wheelie department. He told me later he biffed the R1 so I wouldn't feel bad about having the only "rat" bike in attendance.
