i'd park at uni and brave the 10 minute walk down the hill....

or, I dunno, take a train?

actually, considering that costs $5.70 each way and i'd have to get a lift to the train station, and the trip would take an hour, I'd rather spend only 20 minutes and a dollar on fuel and take the bike.

do the trains even run on a sunday?

Why park at uni when you can park at Britomart?

    'Tis what I'll be doing.

There are 1400 seats in the grandstand - those in the know say get there early to get a seat!

The fellas building the course were in at work about 6 times today, apparently there is a lot of standing water down there as the drains are covered by ply ATM

Are we meeting up before-hand? What time? Where??

    Good times!

Don't worry, nobody wanna steal your bike bro.

Just park where everybody parks, look for where there is heaps of bikes.
Bring a disc lock and cable lock for good measures. I'd be really surprised if any cunts dare to steal bikes in a event like this, they'll get the massive gang bash.

Ok, well Jafa and I are going to meet around in the carpark under the quad at uni before 9am (leaving at 9am). We'll all rock up there together etc, join us.
Practice starts at 10 so we want to get there much beforehand to make sure we have grandstand seats.

Apparently the trains won't be running tomorrow, but will be replaced by buses. From the Maxx website (www.maxx.co.nz):
To allow for major construction works bus replacements will be in place, on the Western and Southern lines, from Saturday 30 May to Monday 1 June - Queen's Birthday weekend

Due to an event at Britomart rail buses will depart and arrive from Stop D9 (corner of Queen St and Galway St)

For details please check the Travel Updates section
Three guesses what the "event" at Britomart is that's disrupting everyone's plans...
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
