yes
no
I will have both
umm, no...was meaning some kind of legit online article that stated it was not using GSM.
Its just every article I've read (online, and not), including some of there engineers have stated differently.
I might be wrong, but I think I'll keep listening to my sources.
Thanks for the info anyway.
They aren't using analogue either.. but i can't find an article stating that.. or wet string and bean cans.
They were installing a GSM/2G and a 3G network. They realised that everyone else in the world has stopped 2G (some years ago) so they've ripped all the 2G sites out again.
GSM is 2G
WCDMA is 3G.
You are correct good sir.
Im upgrading my telecom phone when the new network is online. Now days i think telecom is the better provider what with not being charged to call the help desk n all. Vodafone also provide crap service calls dropping delayed messages ect i spoken to plenty of reps who dislike them for that very reason. Crossing fingers for better data plans on xt.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.
I'm saving about $300 a month diverting my calls to Vodafone. It's a shame I get no signal at my house though. Mind you, I drive 2 minutes from my house and I can only get Vodafone but no Telecom.
It's a real shame they couldn't work out a roaming agreement so that when your GSM handset is out of range of your main provider you can still make and receive calls with the other.
