Like the word past....when you pass a car, you haven't pasted it, you've past it.
It has something to do with the 'T' on the end....replaces the 'ed' or some shit.
Hitcher could probably explain it.

Yes indeed passed, my bad, but passed is one syllable with the 'ed added, unlike texted....school C english was a fail for me....
But the 'T' on the end has something to with it....I used the wrong word in this case. Bling sent.
